Signarama Carpentersville is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Sign Production & Installation Specialist to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves both in-house production and on-site installation of a wide range of signage. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-focused, and enjoys a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

This hands-on role involves both in-house production and on-site installation of a wide range of signage. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-focused, and enjoys a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate wide-format printers, laminators, plotters, saws, and other production equipment
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of signs in various formats and materials
- Perform on-site installations of signage including vinyl graphics, dimensional lettering, building signs, post & panel signs, and monument signs
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe workspace
- Interact with clients professionally during installation projects
- Monitor inventory and assist in maintaining adequate material stock levels
Qualifications:
- Experience in sign installation, construction, or a related trade (electrical, welding, etc.) is preferred but not required
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, and ability to safely operate equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and self-starting attitude
- Comfortable using computers and willing to learn production-related software
- Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset
- Physically fit to handle manual tasks, including lifting over 50–80 lbs and working at heights (e.g., ladders, lifts)

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
